We emphasize socialization, self-awareness, self-esteem, and provide a climate where children can develop socially, emotionally, spiritually, physically and intellectually.

Create a relevant & intentional educational community
Providence Preschool uses a unified approach to lesson planning. Research shows that the first five years of a child's life influence lifelong learning potential. The whole child and sensory theme units approach engages every aspect of a child's five senses to learn about them. The theme approach uses a central feature of a lesson in which children develop language and listening skills through stories, poems, dramatic play, talking, singing, asking/answering questions, and cooperative play. Children express themselves through art, music, and movement. They develop gross muscle skills through play on the playground and organized games in the classroom. They will also develop fine motor skills through painting, drawing, writing, coloring, manipulating puzzles, cutting with scissors, tracing, building, and other age-appropriate activities. Children develop social skills by sharing, following directions, adhering to rules during group games, and interacting with adults and peers.
